I want to post my email address on my website. Is this a good idea?

While it's your website and you can do what you want with it (within reason,) we have concerns. It's not typically recommended to post your email address on a website. Spambots (malicious programs) spider websites with the singular intent to collect email addresses. This is how your email address can end up on spam lists in the Ukraine without you ever firing off a single email. To counter this, you always want to use contact forms with a verification technique like captcha to collect email from your website.

P.S. As of 2015, we no longer offer email to new clients. We recommend Microsoft for a collaborative email and calendaring solution. Learn more at https://products.office.com/en-us/exchange/compare-microsoft-exchange-online-plans.
